Strong Momentum for Reusable Packaging at Warsaw Pack 2026

Warsaw Pack 2026 once again confirmed its position as one of the key meeting points for the packaging industry in Central and Eastern Europe. Held from April 14–16 at the Ptak Warsaw Expo, the event brought together thousands of professionals, showcasing the latest technologies, materials, and logistics solutions shaping the future of packaging.

For Cartonplast, this year’s edition was all about meaningful conversations, strong customer interest, and one clear trend: the shift toward reusable transport solutions is accelerating.

High Interest in Reusable Trays and Sustainable Systems

One of the standout themes at our booth was the growing demand for reusable trays and layer pads—especially in industries where hygiene, efficiency, and sustainability must go hand in hand.

Visitors were particularly interested in:

  1. Reducing single-use packaging waste
  2. Improving transport stability and product protection
  3. Lowering total cost through circular systems

This aligns perfectly with the broader direction of the industry, where innovation, automation, and sustainable packaging solutions are becoming central topic.

Pooling Models: From Concept to Standard

Another major focus was the pooling model for pallets and layer pads, which continues to gain traction across Europe.

Instead of managing one-way materials, companies are increasingly looking for:

  • Closed-loop systems that ensure consistent quality
  • Reliable supply and collection logistics
  • Reduced operational complexity
  • Predictable, scalable cost structures

Cartonplast’s pooling model demonstrates how this works in practice: plastic layer pads are delivered, collected, hygienically cleaned, and reintroduced into the supply chain—ensuring both efficiency and food safety.

The result is a system that not only supports sustainability goals but also optimizes logistics and improves overall operational performance.

A Platform for Real Conversations

Warsaw Pack is more than just an exhibition—it is a platform for real business discussions and partnerships.

For us, the most valuable takeaway was the quality of conversations:

  • Customers actively looking to switch to reusable systems
  • Partners exploring integrated logistics solutions
