Cartonplast Ibérica Wins WorldStar Award 2025 for Sustainable Packaging Innovation

Cartonplast Ibérica has been awarded the prestigious WorldStar Award 2025 in the category Best Sustainable Packaging – Materials and Components. The recognition was granted for the company’s innovative plastic pallet solution, developed specifically for the glass industry in Iberia.

The award-winning pallet is engineered from 50% recycled polypropylene and is tailored for the transport of bottles and glass jars. It has demonstrated a significant reduction in environmental impact, achieving:

·  20% lower carbon footprint

·  47% lower water footprint

In addition to its sustainability benefits, the reusable pallet incorporates advanced features including an RFID system for enhanced traceability, a durability of up to 150 uses, and is 99.9% recyclable. It has undergone extensive testing with consistently positive results.

The WorldStar Award 2025 was officially received by Pablo Garcia, representing both Cartonplast Ibérica and the Cartonplast Group, underscoring the company’s commitment to driving sustainable innovation in industrial logistics.
