WHY USE CARTONPLAST PLASTIC LAYER PADS?

Our plastic layer pads have many advantages over cardboard/wood board (Masonite) layer pads, making them a must-have for any supply chain business. They are safe to handle, hygienically easy to clean, extremely dimensionally stable and completely environmentally friendly as well.

Furthermore, compared to cardboard/wood board (Masonite), Cartonplast plastic layer pads are naturally weatherproof and resistant to environmental influences or pests.

Hygienic design - easy to clean

Sealed edges prevent moisture penetration and the smooth surface of PP, prevents growth and survival of microorganisms. In addition, the plastic layer pads were designed for washing with industrial high-tech cleaning equipment.

Reusable, recyclable, sustainable

Our plastic layer pads are 100 % recyclable. We use only our own recycled material with appropriate certification and in accordance with all safety standards to manufacture our products. This cycle makes Cartonplast Plastic Layer Pads the perfect circular economy product.

Suitable for Automation

Rounded corners enable a perfect fit of the shrink films, avoiding damage from sharp edges. The special surface also ensures safe and efficient operation of suction cups in pick-up systems while they are suitable for sweep depalletizing technologies and securing the containers during the transport and storage. Precise dimensions supporting the use in automatic systems.

Weather resistant

Our layer pads are weather resistant and therefore meet many requirements of the industry. They also withstand outdoor temperatures and weather conditions when transporting your products. They contain UV stabilizers prevent them from sunlight damage during shipping. Even though they should not be stored outdoors, they withstand sunlight better than cardboard or wooden pallets.

Ideal for small and medium glass bottles, jars, and other containers

for glass bottles and jars
stacked pallet load with medium-size containers up to 2.5 tons based on 3 pallet stacking
sealed edges to avoid contamination
rounded corners to allow shrink & stretch wrapping without cutting through the wrapping of sharp corners
more efficient logistic utilization due to light weight structure

SOLID 2 mm SANDWICH PLASTIC LAYER PAD

Ideal for medium to large bottles and PET containers

stronger structure allows heavier glass containers
due to heavier weight suitable to stabilize light weight PET containers
stacked pallet load with medium-size containers up to 3 tons based on 3 pallet stacking
sandwich structure with hardened outer surface for resistance to external impacts and indentations
reduced density in the center section enables lower weight and flexibility

SOLID 3 mm SANDWICH PLASTIC LAYER PAD

Ideal for large glass / plastic / steel / aluminum bottles and containers

stronger structure allows heavier glass containers
due to heavier weight suitable to stabilize light weight PET containers
stacked pallet load with large-size containers up to 3 tons based on 3 pallet stacking
sandwich structure with hardened outer surface for resistance to external impacts and indentations

All our plastic layer pads are suitable for the food and beverage industry, and therefore of course also for the transport of cans. Especially for lightweight containers they provide a secure and stable transport and storage.
